Connect your AI assistant (uses your assistant's own quota)

1. Claude Desktop / Claude Code — paste this into the MCP config (Settings → Developer → Edit Config), then restart the app:
   Copy config
2. Claude web / ChatGPT with connectors — add a custom connector with the URL Copy URL and set the header Authorization: Bearer <your key>.
3. Any other MCP client — same URL and key; the server speaks standard Streamable HTTP.

Then just talk to your assistant

• "Find me a used Sony camera under 300 euros on Thingery"

Keep it private — it publishes listings as you. It is shown only when created or regenerated.

Use your own model (for the chat assistant)

Store an OpenAI-compatible API key and the assistant chats on your key instead of Thingery's. The key is encrypted at rest and verified once before saving — it is never shown again.
